Blade is the first printed collection from Wrong Rooster Publishing. It’s about identity which has been a reoccurring pothole onthe author's life path.

P.T.J Attwell was brought up in a religious household where there was pressure to conform and think like others. School was hard too, where in year six he was bullied mentally by a teacher (Soulful Chimes) and removed from the class. These were blades, shaping his identity, labelling him as ‘slow’, ‘sensitive’, ‘badly behaved’.

It’s no surprise then that when he was 50, he only knew for certain what he wanted to be when he grew up. A writer. Last year he was diagnosed with the gift of ADHD. and now has, for the first time in his life, a game plan to achieve both personal and career satisfaction. He have created Wrong Rooster Publishing as a place where people with mental health issues including ADHD, dyspraxia, anxiety and depression, have an opportunity to tell stories of life from their point of view.

Blade is mainly a collection of poetry showcasing what makes him feel good about life. It’s about finding purpose. I hope you enjoy reading this collection. To find out what’s going on at Wrong Rooster Publishing visit us at:
